The Midlands Business Awards celebrates business achievement in the region. Now in its ninth year, the annual event recognises successful companies in the wider environment, while celebrating and promoting wealth creation. Chinook won the highly competitive Innovation of the Year Award, having impressed the judges with the exceptional performance and the continuing commercial successes being achieved by RODECS®. They said, ‘Using its unique technology, Chinook Sciences is making a difference to the environment - its innovation is impacting our lives.’
Harry Perry, Director of Chinook Sciences, said, ‘I am delighted that we have won the Midlands Business Award for the year’s best new technology development against such a distinguished group of participants. This award celebrates the hard work and dedication of our talented workforce in Nottingham and it also reinforces the position of our RODECS® technology as the clear worldwide leader in the advanced thermal treatment market.’
The awards event took place on Friday 23rd February, at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. Chinook emerged as winner in its category, facing off strong competition from several Birmingham-based organisations.
