Chinook Follows Up Four Previous Awards This Year by Winning the Prestigious International Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practice, to be presented in a ceremony at the Houses of Parliament in November.
11th August 2014 -‐ Nottingham, UK –– Leading clean-‐tech group, Chinook Sciences, has received further industry and public recognition for its world-‐leading technology with the International Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practice. Chinook will be presented with the Award at a ceremony in November at the Houses of Parliament.
The Green Apple Awards have been established since 1994 and are now well established as one of the world’s foremost environment awards campaigns. The Awards are presented by The Green Organisation, an independent, non-‐political, non-‐profit organisation that recognises, rewards and promotes environmental best practice around the world. Previous Award winners include Balfour Beatty, Laing O’Rouke, Heathrow Airport, Carlsberg and the Environment Agency. As a result of winning this award, Chinook expected to go on to represent the United Kingdom in the European Business Awards for the Environment in 2014/15 as one of the most innovative businesses in Europe.
