The Independent has published a thought leading article comparing the differences between Europe’s largest markets, Germany and the UK, with regard to the corporate landscape for medium sized enterprises.
The article follows on from Chinook’s recent contract win in Sharjah, UAE, which was supported by the former BT boss Lord Livingston, the UK’s Trade and Investment minister.
The support offered by UKTI has contributed to this success, however the real success is to replicate this with other UK small and medium enterprises. Although the UK has a record number of start-up businesses, one in three are destined to fail in the first three years.
